6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum is launched in Baku
The 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum was launched at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, October 25.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the official opening ceremony.
President Ilham Aliyev addressed the 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum, held on the theme “Forming a new world and new human: creativity and human development”.
Then, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets read the letter by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Forum participants, and delivered a speech.
Then, Deputy UN Secretary General Rashid Khalikov, ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijiri, UNESCO Deputy Director General Gu Ksing and President of the Interparliamentary Union Gabriella Baron addressed the event.
After the opening speeches, the Forum continued its work in plenary and working sessions.
