A pavilion of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies where successful application of innovative products, services and start-ups are demonstrated is functioning in the framework of the 6th International Humanitarian Forum.

On October 25, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva became familiarized with the pavilion.

The pavilion where successful application of innovative products, services and start-ups are demonstrated is comprised of the zones “Robopark”, “I2B From Idea to Business”, “Start-ups” and “Commercialized projects”.

Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzadeh gave information to Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, while becoming acquainted with the pavilion, that, in general, robotics courses, drones, devices working on wind energy, rescuer-robots, robots identifying colours and separating them in an appropriate manner, locating places of various items are demonstrated in the pavilion. In the commercialised projects section of the pavilion, “Google Art & Culture” International Digital Art and Culture Platform, where Azerbaijan’s digital cultural heritage too is promoted, is functioning. Hundreds of organizations, various events, objects, as well as digital contents of a number of Azerbaijani museums are accumulated on this platform. “Virtual surgery”, which would draw visitors’ attention, is also presented in the section. This project allows to achieve high-level functional and aesthetic outcomes in the plastic surgery, through the application of digital technologies. Each of these projects received a grant from the State Foundation for Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, and are start-up projects being residents of the High Technologies Park.

Moreover, 3 winner-start-up activists chosen among higher education institutions located both in the regions and in Baku in the framework of the project “From Idea to Business” are presenting their projects in the pavilion. They are the projects “Wristband the Saviour”, “Smart House” and “Virtual Tour”. The project “Wristband the Saviour” ensures transfer of information about the problems recorded in the human blood pressure to a neighbouring medical station or a district doctor. The “Smart House” remotely controls domestic devices. The “Virtual Tour” is an application for identifying tourism objects and booking therein on an online mode. Start-up activists studying abroad too have gained a chance to present their products in the pavilion of the ministry.

The pavilion will continue its work during the events to be held at the Heydar Aliyev Centre in the framework of the “Innovations Week”, under the name of “InnoExpo”.
