We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
The project “Our Front Yard” aiming to renovate neglected front yards, with organizational support of IDEA Public Association and “Javan” Youth Movement Public Association, supported by Baku city’s district executive authorities, is continuing successfully.
On November 5, another front yard renovated in the framework of the project “Our Front Yard” was commissioned for residents’ use. The renovated front yard covers buildings 186, 188 and 194 at Azadlyg Avenue, Binagadi district, accommodating 3 thousand residents.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva attended the ceremony of commissioning, taking part in the mass tree-planting action.
The objective of the project “Our Front Yard” is to model environmentally clean and renovated yards, restore green areas, form healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for citizens.
Special facilities have been placed in the yard - with total area of five thousand square metres, renovated in the framework of the project “Our Front Yard” - for easy movement of people with restricted health condition, and for creating favourable conditions for the development of children of all age groups. Moreover, here have been created a chess ground and a football pitch, a small ground with sports tools, and an area for a bonfire to celebrate Novruz Wednesdays according to traditions. A special area has been allocated in the renovated yard for yoga lovers.
Taking into account residents’ wishes and interests, facades and entrances of the apartment buildings were repaired. Along with restoring the existing greenery on the yard’s territory, some 300 trees and shrubs were planted additionally. Surveillance cameras have been installed here to ensure comfort of the residents, and linked with the “Secure City” automated control network of the Interior Ministry.
