Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
“Zima-2019” International Child Festival took place in the Heydar Aliyev Palace, supported by the Culture Ministry of Azerbaijan and Beat Group Company.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the event.
Walking a red carpet before the concert, young vocalists shared their expectations of the festival.
Vocal teacher, Honoured Artist of Ukraine Rimma Shapovalova, speaking to correspondents, said she was in great hopes for the festival participants, underscoring the importance of such events in discovering new talents.
Then, a grandiose gala-concert took place. Performing at the festival, over twenty young talents sang famous Azerbaijani and world hits.
At the end of the festival, participants were presented diplomas and keepsakes.
Over 100 talents had applied to participate in the festival. 21 of them reached the finals.
Performers from Turkey, Russia, Georgia and other countries too participated in the festival.
Producer of the festival is Honoured person of art Ulviyya Konul, project’s music producer Rustam Rzayev, and vocal teacher Rimma Shapovalova.
