We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
On March 4, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva visited Maternity Hospital No.2 in Sabunchu district. This maternity hospital was commissioned in 1987, following the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Leyla Aliyeva viewed wards, inquired about the health conditions of mothers and newly born infants, wishing the children to grow up healthily.
With 120 beds, the medical institution has been provided with new infant incubators by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The incubators previously used in the maternity hospital did not meet modern requirements.
Leyla Aliyeva was given information about the treatment of infants born with respiratory deficiency and other problems, kept in these special devices. Treatment of infants with such diseases as inconsistency of blood groups and rhesus between mother and baby, respiratory problems, short weight, preterm delivery, requiring intensive therapy, are carried out in new incubators. 3 out of over 70 newly born infants are kept in the incubators. Physicians said conditions of these infants were becoming stable, and positive dynamics was observed.
398 people are employed at this medical institution. Leyla Aliyeva was photographed with the staff of the maternity hospital, and wished them successes.
