Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
On July 3rd, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Association Leyla Aliyeva became familiarized with the exhibition “Live Life” at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, and met with students doing a practical summer work in the framework of this international exhibition project.
Leyla Aliyeva became familiarized with handicrafts made by young artists, displayed at the exhibition.
After becoming familiarized with the exhibition, a photo was taken together with participants of the summer practice school.
30 distinguished students of the Azerbaijan State Art Academy have been doing a practical summer work at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, within the framework of the exhibition “Live Life”, since July 2nd.
The topic of the summer practice, which will continue until July 6th, is in compliance with the idea of the exhibition “Live Life”, aiming at drawing attention to environmental issues, protection of nature, and enlightening the society on the role of art in this field.
Students participating in the project have been provided with basic sets required for creativity. Each of the participants will be given encouraging prizes. And, at the end of the project, three winners will be chosen among them, and rewarded.
Arranged following Leyla Aliyeva’s initiative, the exhibition “Live Life”, after being displayed in London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow and Tbilisi, was brought to Baku, and since September 28, 2018, has been presented at the Heydar Aliyev Centre. Over 200 works are displayed in the exposition.
