Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
On July 27th, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with children being treated with the support of the Foundation in Bona Dea International Hospital.
Bona Dea International Hospital is one of the world’s medical institutions meeting modern standards both in terms of the medical staff, and also the material and technical basis. 50 children in May and 42 children in June this year were treated here with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Those being treated are basically children suffering from palsy and autism diseases. 5 of the children being treated here have undergone operation. After the operations, children were prescribed relevant treatment course, and they are currently on the rehabilitation course. Among those being treated was also a child with inborn hearing defect. As a result of the treatment, his hearing capacity was restored.
Children being treated here were presented gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
