We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
March and exhibition of classic cars was held with the organizational support of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation.
Cars manufactured until 1980 participated in the march was followed by Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and a number of well-known persons. Among the old cars were private transport facilities registered for the march, as well as cars included in the exhibits of the classic cars exhibition being displayed at the Heydar Aliyev Centre.
Over 100 old cars participated in the march, which started from the Heydar Aliyev Centre.
After marching through central streets and avenues where contemporariness and antiquity are united, the cars were exhibited in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Centre.
Rare car models as “Ford Model A” (1930), “Fiat Balilla” (1933), “Mercedes Benz 220 B Cabrio” (1952), “Chevrolet Corvette” (1960), “Cadillac Eldorado” (1974), “VAZ 21011” – milis (1973), “Gaz 13”- Chayka (1975) etc. participated in the march-exhibition.
Residents of Baku and visitors watched rare car models with interest.
The exhibition of classic garments held in the framework of the event was welcomed by the audience.
