On September 14, First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva visited the house constructed in place of the one fallen into an emergency state a result of the earthquake, which belonged to Zamig Safarov, a resident of Mughanly village of Shamakhy.

Mehriban Aliyeva: Hello, I am glad to see you. Are these little girls your grandchildren? What beautiful girls !

Zamig Safarov’s wife: Welcome. May God bless You with sound health.

Mehriban Aliyeva: There was an earthquake in Shamakhy on February 5. On February 7, President Ilham Aliyev came to Shamakhy and became familiarized with the situation. Instructions were given immediately, and financial aid was allocated. I am very glad to see that new houses have been constructed in place of almost all of those that had become useless for living.

The family of Safarovs thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva for being at their side at difficult for them times and for the support they have provided to remove the after-effects of the earthquake.
