A concert programme is arranged at the International Mugham Centre on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day and the New Year

On December 29th, a concert programme took place at the International Mugham Centre on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day, and the New Year.

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva was among the attendees of the concert.

People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, well-known pianist Murad Huseynov performed works by Azerbaijani and European composers.

Performed by the pianist, “Moonlight” by Claude Debussy’s, “Dedication” by Robert Schumann and Franz Liszt, “Sonatina” by Morris Ravel, “Nocturne”, “Polonaise” and “Waltz” by Frederick Chopin, “Prelude” by Vasif Adygozalov, and “Prelude-Scherzo” by Adil Babirov were welcomed by the audience with much interest.

People’s Artist Murad Huseynov performed the work “Roman dances” for piano forte and violin by Bela Bartok together with violinist-conductor Javad Taghyzadeh.

The concert was closed by the most famous pieces by Murad Huseynov, Honoured Artist Sahib Pashazadeh (tarzan), Javad Taghyzadeh (violin), and Seymur Hasansoy (accordion).
