We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva visited, May 15, Secondary School No.1 and the Chotary Church of Saint Elise in the settlement of Nij in Gabala district.
President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva first arrived at Secondary School No.1 in the settlement of Nij.
They were informed that the school building was constructed in 1857, where 135 pupils are educated at the moment.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva arrived at the Chotary Church of Saint Elise, and lit candles.
They were informed that this church was basically repaired by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2006, and was placed at the disposal of the Albanian-Udi Christian community. The Church of Saint Elise was built in 1823.
A small model of tolerance, the settlement of Nij has 3 churches and 2 mosques at the moment. Of about 10 thousand Udi people living worldwide, some 4 thousand are in the settlement of Nij.

-Yes, Mister President, the Eight. We consider the eight crosses holy – the Eight of twelve apostles. We have seen this also in Tugh.
