We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.

Opening of the Baku Zoological Park takes place after reconstruction
On October 7th, opening of the Baku Zoological Park took place after reconstruction.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended the inauguration.
The Baku Zoological Park was reconstructed following the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, the founder and head of IDEA Public Association. As a result of the reconstruction works carried out over the course of about 4 years, the Baku Zoological Park was improved to meet the latest requirements.
At the moment, the total number of animal species in the Zoo is 125, with the number of those entered on the Red List being 22.
