A meeting took place between Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva - who was on a visit to Moscow, and chairperson of the All-Russian Nature Conservation, goodwill ambassador of UN Environment Programme (UNEP), legendary hockey player Vyacheslav Fetisov.

In the framework of the meeting, an Agreement of Intention was signed between IDEA Public Association and the All-Russian Nature Conservation on protection of environment.

The agreement stipulates implementing joint endeavours and projects on education and enlightenment in the field of ecology and sustainable development, working with the youth and attracting them to solution of ecological problems etc.

The parties have expressed their confidence during the meeting that joint initiatives in our countries, as well as globally, on protection of nature and control of climate change would be implemented successfully. Exchange of views was also held around the hopes and expectations associated with the UN’s climate conference, to be held soon in Glasgow city, as well as perspectives of joint activity and cooperation towards combatting the global warming.
