Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
On November 11, a ceremony of releasing the first flock of deer took place in the Ismailly section of the Shahdagh National Park in the framework of the project on reintroduction of red deer, with participation of Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
Under the project, animals are first kept in a specially allocated area in order for them to pass through a period of adaptation and then they are released into nature in various regions of the country, at places where deer had their natural habitat.
