Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
The conference hall ‘Krimski Val’ of the Holiday Inn Sokolniki hotel in Moscow hosted the fourth reporting conference of the Azerbaijan Youth Organization of Russia with participation of 104 delegates of Moscow and regional affiliates of the organization.
After the state anthems of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation were performed, member of the organization Emin Hajiyev delivered the final report about the activity of the organization over the past period. He spoke about the successfully implemented projects and implementation of the goals set by the organization’s chairperson Leyla Aliyeva.
He noted that today the Azerbaijan Youth Organization of Russia represents a single organization which has taken its worthy place among the youth organizations of Russia and Azerbaijan. He said that Azerbaijan and Russia maintain lasting friendship based on mutual understanding and mutual trust.
Also was informed about participation of the organization in most important projects as well as the implementation of socially important initiatives, including the international campaign of Justice for Khojaly initiated by head of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia Leyla Aliyeva.
Then, the conference participants took to the steering issues and listened to the report of the control and revision commission. Leyla Aliyeva was again elected as AYOR chairperson. The members of the organization and control and revision commission were also elected.
The meeting of representatives of youth non-governmental organizations of Russia and Azerbaijan on ‘Dialogue and Cooperation’ was held on par.
The presentation of the Youth Fund of Azerbaijan was also held within the framework of the meeting. The sides exchanged views on future joint projects of Azerbaijani and Russian youth.
