Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
Two more yards have been redeveloped in Baku under “Bizim həyət” project.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of the yards and a tree-planting campaign.
The redeveloped yards are located at Bakikhanov Street 42, Nasimi district and Sakit Gojayev Street 25, 25a, 25b, 27, and 27c Bakikhanov district, Baku.
Redevelopment saw the installation of entertainment facilities for children, construction of a football pitch, outdoor gym, and chess areas. Special facilities for the disabled were installed.
Some 650 trees, as well as seasonal flowers were planted, and green areas were laid out in the yard.
Initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, “Bizim həyət” project aims to redevelop yards, make them greener, create a more comfortable living environment for residents and promote healthy lifestyle.
