Heydar Aliyev Foundation's Russia Office holds charity events

The Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) and All-Russia Azerbaijani Congress (ARAC) held large-scale charity actions in Moscow and over 20 regions of Russia on the eve of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year at the initiative of Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Head of the Foundation’s Russia Office Mrs Leyla Aliyeva.[devider]

The Representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia, which always renders care and attention to children deprived of parental care, sent gifts to children’s home-boarding schools No 2, 8, 11, 23 and 43 in Moscow, Russian Medical Sciences Academy’s Scientific Surgery Center after Petrovski, as well as to Social Rehabilitation Center for disabled children ‘Yujnoe Butovo’.
 
Employees of the Representation visited a range of children’s homes in Moscow and arranged celebrations with participation of Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and other tale characters. They conveyed congratulations of Leyla Aliyeva to the children. The children received gifts after the event.
 
The gift basket included Eastern candies, fruits, books and toys. Each children’s home received computer, printer and other gifts.
 
Similar events were held on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva in other regions of Russia – Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vladimir, Tula, Kaluga, Tver, Kirov, Voronezh, Chelyabinsk, Lipetsk, Tyumen and Yaroslavl provinces, as well as Udmurtia.
 
The Foundation’s Representation in Russia holds such events often. Since 2008 the Representation has been arranging charity actions to make children deprived of parental care and suffering from different diseases happy.
 
Directors of boarding schools No 2 and 43 Nadezhda Khrikina and Galina Ivanova and heads of other children’s homes expressed thanks to Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Leyla Aliyeva for the concern about the children.
 
Of course, the biggest gift for the organizers of these actions is the joy of children.
