AYOR Chairperson Leyla Aliyeva meets members of youth organizations of Russia

Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) Leyla Aliyeva has met members of the Youth Public Chamber of Russia, National Youth and children Council of Russia (NYCR), Russian Federal Agency on Youth Affairs and “Commonwealth” International Youth Organizations.

They discussed prospects for implementing joint projects in the field of youth affairs.

AYOR Chairperson Leyla Aliyeva called on the audience to actively participate in international projects carried out by Azerbaijan`s Ministry Youth and Sport.
Chairman of National Youth Council of Russia Grigory Petushkov expressed interest in further cooperation with AYOR.

During a meeting with member of the Youth Public Chamber of Russia Alexei Karpenko, they reached agreement to resume distribution of books of famous Russian writers in Azerbaijani schools and books Azerbaijani writers and poets in Russian schools. Alexei Karpenko invited AYOR Chairperson Leyla Aliyeva to participate in the European Forum to be held in Alpbach, Austria, in August. 
Leyla Aliyeva stressed the necessity of promoting children`s writers, translating books into various languages and holding meetings between Azerbaijani and Russian writers.

She said: “We are ready to provide the literature and collections of the Azerbaijani writers and poets to the schools and universities in Russia”.
Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Sergei Belokonev said he was interested in implementation of the joint projects.
The sides agreed that Azerbaijani youth would participate in the international projects organized by the Federal Agency.

AYOR Chairperson Leyla Aliyeva invited the participants to attend the International youth photography contest, festival and Exhibition “Children`s Eyes on Earth” to be held in Baku in 2013.

She noted Azerbaijan was interested in holding projects in the field of art. Leyla Aliyeva touched upon the “Fly to Baku” exhibition which took place in one of the largest museum and exhibition centres of Moscow - Multimedia Art Museum.
