We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
Another action called “Blood has no nationality” was held in Moscow, June 14, following the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, the Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR), and with support from the I.M.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
Within the actions that have been held for already 6 years at the Clinical Transfusion and Haematology Department headed by Aliheydar Rahimov, professor of the I.M.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, tens of students of Moscow’s higher schools have donated blood for children suffering from haemophilia and thalassemia.
Member of AYOR’s supervision and inspection commission Samir Aliyev said Azerbaijanis have been holding this action for already 6 years. This year, 100 students of Moscow’s higher schools have participated in this action. Among them there were students from Brazil, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and other countries.
In addition to students, employees of the dean’s office for the affairs of foreign students and of the international department, teachers of this higher school, as well as representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia took active part in the action.
