The “IDEA” - by the vice-president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla ALiyeva has started its next “IDEA for Green Azerbaijan” project on the defense of environment.

Special designed “green busses” were seen off to the regions and cities of Azerbaijan. The campaign representatives will conduct educational seminars for schoolchildren in different regions of Azerbaijan within the project.

The project envisages organization and conduction of ecological seminars in 20 regions. The project is to involve 4000 schoolchildren. The courses aimed at building volunteers’ leadership capacity and presentation/facilitation skills and increasing their knowledge on environmental issues as well as at improving “green volunteers” team of IDEA in the regions.

The IDEA campaign was started by Leyla Aliyeva, the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on July 12, 2011.
