The IDEA social project (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) held a tree-planting day in the Azerbaijani city of Gandja, under the slogan “Help us to make Azerbaijan greener”.

The project was supported by the city authorities in Gandja, and succeeded in planting ten thousand trees. The project took place in the Heydar Aliyev City Park, and over one thousand residents of the city took part. The park has now got huge new reserves of Eldar Pine, Cypress, and Eastern Cottonwood trees, along with many others.
