A reception entitled “Part of my heart is with Russia”, devoted to national leader Heydar Aliyev, took place for representatives of mass media,  at the press centre of the newspaper “Parlamentskaya gazeta”, an organ of the Russian Federation’s Federal Council, jointly with the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR), supported by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in this country.

The event was attended by deputy Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Gudsi Osmanov, deputy chairperson of the Federation Council’s Social Policy Commission Lyudmila Kozlova, deputy head of Moscow city National Policy Department Sergey Vichkelev, member of the Russian Federation Council Lyudmila Kozlova, well-known TV host Marina Kim, AYOR’s coordinator Natig Aliyev, head of the Moscow Region representative office of the All-Russian Azerbaijanis Congress Araz Mursaliyev, etc.

The event’s moderator was chief editor of the newspaper “Parlamentskaya Gazeta” Alexander Korennikov.

Deputy Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Gudsi Osmanov thanked the organizers and    participants of the event on behalf of Ambassador Polad Bulbuloghlu, and talked of the National Leader’s role in formation and strengthening of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.

Then first deputy  chairperson of the State Duma for Nations’ Affairs Mikhail Starshinov’s address was read.

Pieces from a documentary about Heydar Aliyev’s life and  activity were demonstrated at the event, and a photo-exhibition prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Russian Representative Office was presented.

At the end, the participants of the event listened to favourite music pieces of national leader Heydar Aliyev, performed by well-known violinist Anar Yusifov.
