The Korean version of a website on Khojaly genocide has been launched as part of the Justice for Khojaly international campaign initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The Khojaly genocide website and Facebook account created by Azerbaijan’s embassy to the Republic of Korea and BUTA Azerbaijan-Korea Student Organization aims to raise awareness of the Korean public about the massacre.

The website provides information about the causes of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the massacre committed by the Armenian troops against the civilians in the town of Khojaly in 1992. It also contains photographs and videos. The website informs visitors about the recognition of the Khojaly massacre as genocide by parliaments of some countries and international community, as well as Justice for Khojaly campaign.

The website and Facebook account are one of a series of events conducted as part of the Khojaly Month announced by the BUTA Azerbaijan-Korea Student Organization and the Azerbaijani Embassy. In addition, Khojaly Genocide brochure made by the Heydar Aliyev Center was translated into the Korean language and published in 5,000 copies.
