We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, head of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Association Leyla Aliyeva received world-renowned specialists on protection and rehabilitation of leopards – expert of the Council for Protection of Wildlife Urs Breitenmoser and expert of the Zoological Society of London Chris Ransom.
The experts came to Baku at Leyla Aliyeva’s invitation. They will study the condition of the Caucasian leopards in Azerbaijan and the ways of increasing their number.
Creation of favourable environment for leopards’ living and the most effective ways of rehabilitation of this type of species were discussed at the meeting, taking into consideration the relief of the country.
