Fourth Baku International Humanitarian Forum is held at the Heydar Aliyev Center

The 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center, October 2.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration of the Forum.

The 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum is an influential venue, in which the most extensive humanitarian cooperation issues are discussed.

The Forum is an influential scientific and political platform on an international scale for a wide-spectrum dialogue, exchange of views and discussions seeking answers to global calls facing the humanity in the 21st century.

Some 500 guests from over 60 countries of the world attended the 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum.

The Head of the State addressed the Forum.

Then Chairperson of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly’s Federation Council Valentina Matvienko read the congratulation letter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and delivered a speech.

UN Development Programme’s head Mrs Helen Clerk, ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz bin Othman al-Twaijri too delivered a speech at the Forum.

A video appeal of UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova was demonstrated to the Forum participants.

The Forum continued its work by a plenary session.
