Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
A delegation headed by chairperson of Blue Marine Foundation – the Great Britain’s world-renowned organization for protection of the marine environment - Charles Clover was on a trip to Azerbaijan, February 23, at the invitation of founder of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva.
Within the framework of the visit, demonstration of the documentary “End of the line” shot by Blue Marine Foundation and welcomed with great interest by international public took place at IDEA Public Association’s Resource Centre, attended by students studying at various higher schools.
After the demonstration, Charles Clover and other employees of Blue Marine Foundation gave information about the activity of their organization, answered questions of students.
Within the framework of the visit, the guests met with Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva. Issues concerning the ecological condition in the Caspian Sea and protection of its fauna and flora were discussed. The guests were given information about the actions taken towards protection of the marine environment and achievement reached in this field. The parties emphasized the significance of continuing the cooperation and mutually beneficial dialogue.
