President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, together with family members, attended the inauguration of the Baku Shooting Centre located in Bilajari settlement of the capital, March 9.

The centre has been designed to hold competitions and trainings on bullet and trap-and-skeet shooting types of sport. All conditions have been created here to arrange high-level competitions. The Centre’s area has been extended up to 19.6 hectares. 

In accordance with the general layout of the Baku Shooting Centre, all buildings and facilities constructed in the area meet the requirements of the International Shooting Federation. The bullet shooting building of the centre conform to up-to-date standards. 

A hotel building has been constructed at the Centre for sportsmen and coaches, as well as to accommodate guests. Consisting of four stories and a terrace, the building has been provided with all conditions for visitors. 

There is also an overground parking area for 495 cars and a VIP parking lot for 26 cars.
