President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and family members made an Umrah Pilgrimage to Mecca, the main holy city of the Islamic world, April 6. 

The President and family members arrived at  Al-Haram Mosque (Masjid al-Haram).

President Ilham Aliyev and the accompanying him persons walked around Kaaba and performed namaz in the Mosque.

Then visits to Safa and Marwah hills took place. The President and the family members overcame the distance between the two hills seven times.

Thereafter, the President and the family members  entered Kaaba and performed namaz here.

After the Umrah Pilgrimage came to an end, the Azerbaijani President was given comprehensive information about Al-Haram Mosque.
