Inauguration of a building constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for IDP families in Khyrdalan town of Absheron district took place, May 10.

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, Vice-president of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended the inauguration.

IDP families from Kalbajar, Zangilan and Fuzuli districts settled on the territory of Khyrdalan Meat-packing Factory have been moved into this new building. The building is 9-storied and has a car parking area. Construction of the 3-block building started in June 2014. 

Mehriban Aliyeva made her acquainted with the conditions created in the apartment of Niyazi Alakbarov, from Kalbajar district. 

In total, there are 126 apartments in the building. 42 out of them are one-, 60 two- and 24 three-room apartments.  Apartments have been provided with furniture. The building has a centralized heating system, and has been provided with high-quality elevators. Extensive improvement works have been carried out around the building, trees and shrubs planted.
