On June 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady, Chairperson of Baku-2015 1^st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched Greco-Roman wrestling competitions at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace within the framework of the 1^st European Games.

Azerbaijani sportsman Rasul Junayev won the gold medal in the 71-kg weight category, having defeated his rival from Hungary Balint Korpasin in the finals.

Participating in the awarding ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev presented medals to the winners.
