Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watch boxing competitions within the framework of the 1st European Games
On June 19, boxing competitions at the 1st European Games continued at Baku Crystal Hall.
Azerbaijan’s First Lady, Chairperson of the 1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched the performance of Mammadrasul Majidov who represented Azerbaijan at Baku-2015 1st European Games in the 91-kg weight category.
European and twofold world champion, bronze medal winner of Olympic Games Mammadrasul Majidov joined the competitions from the eighth-finals. Our boxer defeated in this phase Georgian sportsman Micheil Bakhtidze with the score 3:0.
Mammadrasul Majidov’s rival at the fourth-finals will be Turkish sportsman Ali Demirazan. This competition will take place on June 22.
