On June 25, boxing competitions took place in the framework of the 1^st European Games. Azerbaijani boxer Teymur Mammadov won another gold medal to the country’s national team. 

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched the boxing competitions.

Competing against Italian boxer Valentino Manfredonia in the 81-kg weight category among men in the finals, Teymur Mammadov defeated his rival with the score 3:0 and became a champion of the 1^st European Games.

Then an awarding ceremony took place.

President Ilham Aliyev presented medals to the sportsmen.
