On October 24, three thousand trees were planted in different areas of Gusar town. The tree-planting campaign was waged within the framework of the “All-republican Landscaping Marathon” carried out by IDEA Public Union. In the framework of the campaign, aiming at protecting the environment and widening green areas, pine-trees - fitting the district’s climate – were, basically, planted.

The environmental action took place on the territory of the Flag Square at the town’s entrance and along the road linking the town with Chilagir village. Employees of administrations and enterprises operating in the district, as well as citizens took part in the tree-planting campaign.
