President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin presents the “Pushkin” Medal to Leyla Aliyeva

Since our country regained its state independence, education in Russian has been maintained in full volume. Education in Azerbaijan’s higher schools are conducted both in the Azerbaijani and Russian languages.”
