Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) participated in Foreignerslife Forum opened on February 5 in Moscow.
Over 130 companies have displayed their products and services at an exhibition held within the framework of the Forum. The objective of holding this Forum is to acquaint foreigners living in Russia with this country’s lifestyle and business environment, at the same time, Russians with foreign countries’ tourism, education and business capacities.
In the Azerbaijani stand presented by AYOR, booklets with information about our country’s tourism potential, possibilities created for foreign investors in our republic, as well as the cultural and literary environment, and various issues of Baku Magazine were presented to visitors. Detailed information given by Azerbaijani youth in national dresses about our music instruments, ancient household items, hand-woven carpets aroused much interest in foreigners. AYOR’s activists provided visitors with information about the broad tourism possibilities in Azerbaijan, the Baku-2015 first European Games, as well as Europe’s Formula-1 Grand Prix competitions. Within the framework of the Forum is also planned organization of master classes.
Attending the event, member of both the Parliamentary Association of the European Council and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Thierry Mariani made himself closely familiarized with AYOR’s stand. He emphasized the high-level cooperation between Azerbaijan and France and brought to attention that economic and cultural relations between our countries are developing rapidly.
Conferences devoted to pressing issues, master classes and other events are expected to take place at the Forum, which will continue until February 7.
