Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
A certificate awarding ceremony of the international awareness campaign "Justice for Khojaly", initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, General Coordinator for Intercultural Dialogue of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC), was held in Baku on Tuesday.
The ceremony was held as a part of the International conference on “Digital Age and New Generation: Strengthening Capabilities and Capacities of Youth in ICT” jointly organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and the ICYF-DC.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary General of Islamic Conference Youth Forum Elshad Iskandarov highly praised the role of ICT in realization of International campaigns. He also spoke about the works done under the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign.
“Huge works done in short time shows that we can do more being together,” added during the meeting Leyla Aliyeva, General Coordinator for Intercultural Dialogue of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC).
The meeting was attended by the campaign’s national coordinators from over 20 countries who were awarded with certificates at the end of the meeting.
