Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
Premiere of the documentary “The End of the Line” took place at Nizami Cinema Centre, following the IDEA Public Union’s initiative, May 11.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva attended the event.
Presented for the first time on a big screen in Azerbaijan, the film “The End of the Line” has been produced by the Blue Marine Foundation, a famous organization of the Great Britain engaged in protection of the marine environment, and having been translated into Azerbaijani, with the support of the IDEA Public Union, demonstrated in our country.
Speaking before the presentation, project manager of the Blue Marine Foundation Rory Moore gave information about the significance of the marine environment, and how the film devoted to this topic was produced.
Rory Moore gave information about the cooperation built between IDEA Public Union and the Blue Marine Foundation, including the project implemented towards protection and rehabilitation of the marine environment. He thanked Leyla Aliyeva for the support she has provided to protection of the marine fauna.
After the presentation of the film, familiarization with an exhibition dedicated to protection of the marine environment took place at Nizami Cinema Centre.
