Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
On September 29, after the opening ceremony, the 5th Baku International Humanitarian Forum continued its work in a plenary session at the Heydar Aliyev Centre.
In the first part of the plenary session, political and religious leaders made speeches. In the second part, speeches by Nobel laureates took place.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva participated in the second part of the plenary session.
The second part of the session was chaired by Academician Akif Alizadeh, the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
