First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the Foundation’s vice-president Leyla Aliyeva followed the panel-discussions on health security in the framework of the 53^rd Munich Security Conference, February 18.

At the panel-discussions, exchange of thoughts were held on joint efforts by the UN and the World Health Organization towards preventing epidemics throughout the world, ways of involving civil society institutes, as well as the private sector, in this process, and use of innovation and advanced technologies in the struggle against epidemics, etc.

The 53^rd Munich Security Conference will end on February 19.
