Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met pupils of Special School No.11 for children with restricted health condition in Nasimi district. Familiarising herself with the conditions of the children with restricted health condition, those suffering from Down syndrome and autism, Leyla Aliyeva took interest in the education process.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva viewed classrooms, and watched the teaching process. She was informed that at the moment, 109 children are taught at the school, while 749 are taught individually, at home.
Leyla Aliyeva appreciated children’s showing interest towards creativity, along with education, as a case worth of esteem, and said extending their talent further was important, and that this education institution should be kept under control, to make sure that conditions here are improved.
Then, Leyla Aliyeva arrived at Special School No.268 for children with restricted health condition in Nasimi district. 160 pupils study here at the moment. Moreover, children are also taught individually, at home.
