An exhibition on “Ecological challenges and the ways of their solution through students' eyes” was inaugurated at Zira Cultural Centre, with the organization support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, November 21.

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva, minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, and representatives of youth organizations attended the opening ceremony.

The Planet Earth embraces people, feeds them, and allows to benefit from its resources in order to survive. Benefiting from these resources, people are taking care of them. The organization of the exhibition on “Ecological challenges and the ways of their solution through students' eyes” too serves this objective.

The exhibition, organized on the basis of the “Azerbaijani Youth’s Development Strategy for 2015-2025”, approved by Resolution of President Ilham Aliyev, dated January 26, 2015, aims to extend the youth’s interest in the environmental issues, enlighten them on this subject, support their creative potential, and encourage their social initiatives.

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and minister Azad Rahimov viewed handicrafts of youth aged 14 to 29 at the exhibition.

Here are displayed works made in various types of art, including monumental painting, easel painting, ebru art, and other styles.

Then participants of the event familiarized themselves with Art Studio at Zira Cultural Centre.

The Centre has been provided with necessary conditions and teaching aids in order for children to master the peculiarities of painting art. Here are also displayed paintings by young artists on environmental issues.

Leyla Aliyeva also watched a mime show dedicated to environmental issues by young actors.

At the end of the ceremony, those distinguished were rewarded.
