Dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the 3^rd University Games, held in Moscow following the initiative of Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, with organizational support from the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR), came to the end.

The 3^rd University Games were closed out by a mini football tournament for the Heydar Aliyev Cup. The Moscow State Humanitarian Economics University’s team was the winner of the tournament held in the Sokolniki Sports Complex in Moscow. The combined team of the Russian Customs Academy and the Moscow State Pedagogical University took the second place, while the team of the Moscow State International Relations University was third.

Member of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia Emin Hajiyev presented the Heydar Aliyev Cup and medals to the winners, as well as gifts on behalf of AYOR’s chairperson Leyla Aliyeva.

Volleyball, marathon and table tennis competitions took place also among men and women in the framework of the 3^rd University Games. All winners of the University Games were presented awards.
