We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
The Moscow State Central Museum of Musical Culture named after famous Russian composer Glinka will host a party dedicated to Mugham, traditional genre of Azerbaijan folk music.
In 2003, Mugham was recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The Moscow Mugham party is to be organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russian Federation, Russian branch of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Glinka State Central Museum of Musical Culture.
Polad Bulbuloglu, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia and Leyla Aliyeva, Head of Russian representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, are due to make presentations at the party. The program includes film screening, concert and after-party exhibition.
