On May 5, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva visited the 19th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition and Forum – Caspian Agro Week – and the 31st Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition – InterFood Azerbaijan – at the Baku Expo Center.  

An award ceremony to honor the winners of the "Baku Marathon 2026" was held.  

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva, Head of the Baku Media Center, visited the International Carpet Festival held at Gosha Gala Square in Icherisheher.  

“Bentley Baku” has unveiled the "Art in Motion" – solo exhibition by Rashad Mehdiyev, transforming the luxury showroom into a space where fine art meets deep philosophy.  

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, and Arzu Aliyeva visited the “ABAD” Ceramics and Applied Arts Center operating in the territory of the “Yukhari Bash” National Historical-Architectural Reserve in Sheki.  

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, and Arzu Aliyeva, Head of the Baku Media Center, attended the opening of several historical and architectural monuments located in the territory of the Yukhari Bash National Historical-Architectural Reserve in Sheki city after their restoration.  

As part of their visit to Sheki city, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, and Arzu Aliyeva visited the Sheki Khan’s Mosque Complex.

On April 18, a panel session on “United for Peace in Palestine: Confronting Scholasticide, Protecting Future” was held as part of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in the Turkish city of Türkiye.  

On April 15, the Nizami Cinema Center hosted the premiere of the second season of the “Me, Lala and Sherlock Holmes” TV series, produced on the joint initiative of the Azerbaijan Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education. Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva, as well as Culture Minister Adil Karimli, and Education and Science Minister Emin Amrullayev attended the event.
