Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
On October 24, opening of the exhibition “Shirvanshahs’ Legacy at World Museums” took place in the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex, by the Icherisheher State History and Architecture Reserve Department.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the exhibition’s inauguration ceremony.
The exhibition was organized in the framework of the international scientific conference “Travelling from Contemporary Azerbaijan back to Historical State of Shirvanshahs” in Baku.
Head of the Icherisheher State History and Architecture Reserve Department Asger Alakbarov and employee of the Istanbul Askeri Museum Omar Farug Aslan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
Then, acquaintance with the exhibition started.
Ancient music instruments ensemble “Echoes of Centuries” performed at the event, under the leadership of People’s Artist of the National Conservatoire of Azerbaijan Fakhraddin Dadashov.
The exhibition will continue to function until January 23, 2019.
