Leyla Aliyeva visited a photo-exhibition by prominent Western photographers

Leyla Aliyeva – the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation – attended the opening ceremony of a photo-retrospective of works featuring the major Swiss photographer Robert Frank, on September 9th in Moscow.

The exhibition includes around 120 pictures which reflect every stage of the photographer"s artistic career. In addition to the photographs in the exhibition itself, there was a presentation of Robert Frank"s most important collections.

The Head of the Moscow Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation also saw works from the personal exhibition of the well-known American photographer "Widgeon", which was similarly organised under the auspices of the Moscow House Of Photography museum. "Widegon", whose real name is Arthur Fellig, is a star of the U.S. and world photography scene. He began his career as a freelance photo-reporter for various publications, and became famous for his photo-chronicle of criminal incidents in New York.
