We've been setting this exhibition up for nearly two years. I believe that its language – the language of Art – eloquently conveys the great accomplishments our country has made in all spheres of achievement.
On the International Day for Protection of Children, following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Vice-president Leyla Aliyeva, pupils of Azerbaijani School with Ethno-cultural Component No.157 named after Kerim Kerimov in Moscow participated in the festivities held in the building of the Modern Russian History State Central Museum in Moscow.
Graduates of the Saviour Christ Temple Sunday School and pupils of the Y.Nikulin Boarding School also participated in the festivities organized by the Russian Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Modern Russian History State Central Museum and the Russian Cultural Fund’s “Open History Lesson” International Programmes’ Administration.
Director of the International Programmes Administration, Honoured Person of Art of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Shumova thanked the Russian Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and head of the Office Leyla Aliyeva for supporting children’s projects of the International Programmes Administration.
Children walked around the museum. Then, in the chamber hall of the Museum’s England Club, pupils of the Academic Music College’s children’s music school performed works by Russian and foreign composers.
Souvenirs were presented to attendees of the festivity on behalf of the organizers of the event. At the end of the festivity, a tea table was laid with Azerbaijani sweets.
