President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin presents the “Pushkin” Medal to Leyla Aliyeva
An exhibition comprising handicrafts of children is arranged at the Heydar Aliyev Center, November 26.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening of an exhibition of talented children called “Hearts full of dreams”, realized with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and attendees of the exhibition familiarized themselves with paintings and other handicrafts of children from the Rehabilitation Centre for People with Down Syndrome, “Origami” Child and Juvenile Public Union, “Gayghy” Child Rehabilitation Centre, as well as those children homes and kindergartens in Baku and regions.
After becoming acquainted with the exhibition, a film dedicated to children in need of special care was shown. Dances performed by children were welcomed with interest by the attendees.
An auction of children’s handicrafts took place at the end of the event. Fifteen works were sold in the auction. The money collected will be spent for benevolent purposes - for orphans and children in need of special care. “Hearts full of dreams” Exhibition, where some 400 works are displayed, will run two days.
This event aims at supporting talented children’s creativity and developing their skills.
