“Right answer” Intellectual Tournament was held in the Moscow Youth Parliamentarism Centre, dedicated to the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day. Held with the organizational support of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR), the Moscow Youth Parliamentarism Centre and the O.Y.Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy’s Azerbaijan Club, the tournament was hosted by Rovshan Asgerov, a famous participant of “What? Where? When?” Intellectual Game, a laureate of “Chrystal Owl”.
Representative of the Moscow Youth Parliamentarism Centre Sergey Martynov said they were ready to continue collaboration with AYOR further, and implement joint projects.
Member of AYOR’s Board Emin Hajiyev conveyed greetings of the organization’s chairperson Leyla Aliyeva to participants of the tournament: “One of the tasks set by AYOR’s chairperson Leyla Aliyeva before us is to support Azerbaijani youth’s integration into the Russian society. To this end, it is very fruitful to collaborate with the Moscow Youth Parliamentarism Centre. AYOR will soon put forward their proposal aimed at bringing Russian and Azerbaijani youth together”.
Chairperson of the O.Y.Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy’s Azerbaijan Club Ali Aliyev thanked AYOR chairperson Leyla Aliyeva for the support provided for holding the tournament, and the teams for showing interest towards the game.
Teams comprised of Russian and Azerbaijani students studying at Moscow’s leading higher schools participated in the tournament. The team “Atropat” of the Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov won the intellectual contest, which lasted a few hours.
Winners were presented AYOR’s intellectual cup.
Participants of the tournament were distinguished in different nominations: in the nomination “Beauty will save the world” – Ayten Mammadova (the team “Plekhanovtsy” of the Plekhanov Russian Economic University); in the nomination “Intellectual brilliance and flexibility” – Gabil Ahmadzadeh (the team “Financiers” of the Finance University under the Russian Government); in the nomination of “For wise decisions” - the team “ Children of Themis” (the O.Y.Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy); and in the nomination of “For the will of victory” - the team “Vyshka” (High Economic School).
Member of the M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University’s “Atropat” team Ruslan Suleymanov was chosen the most erudite participant of the tournament.
