Family values are deep-rooted in Azerbaijan, and have been passed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. Care of youngsters, and respect for the elderly are cherished traditions in our country.
The 5th Winter Leadership School of AYOR opened in Russia’s Ivanovo city following the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, the Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR).
Over a hundred Russian and Azerbaijani students studying at higher schools of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Ivanovo, Volgograd, Novosibirsk, Pskov, Rostov-on-Don, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, and other regions of Russia participate in the school’s work this year.
Member of AYOR’s board of directors Emin Hajiyev, deputy of the Ivanovo City Duma Andrey Magnitski, head of the “Yedinaya Rossiya” Party’s Ivanovo Regional Section’s Executive Committee Boris Murvanidze, council member of the Russian peoples’ “Miy Rossiane” Youth Assembly’s regional section Elvin Mammadov addressed the opening ceremony.
At the end of the Winter School’s inauguration, school participants performed various songs and national dances.
Activists of student associations and public organizations are participating in AYOR’s 5th Leadership School. In the course of 4 days, they will participate in panel sessions, thematic trainings, and master classes. Leading specialists of the Russian Federation in youth affairs will teach the participants how to implement their ideas, present a ready project, and conduct workshops on oratorical gift.
